TYPO3 has a every enjoyable wiki implementation (dr_wiki) - look for it in the extension library. And yes, a very steep learning curve indeed (it took me quite some evenings spread over some months to really get somewhere), but it's really worth it!

I thought I had :) Turns out the naming of all these md5 checkers is a bit of an issue. Anyways the Md5Checker that I had found is in the System/File-Management section at SoftPedia.com, whereas the one Bradley refers to, also on SoftPedia, is in Security/Security-Related section. The latter, originating from http://getmd5checker.com, does seem even more powerful than both options mentioned in the blog post.

Thanks for the link Bradley!

Why don't you try the Md5Checker 3.1.1 - http://getmd5checker.com/ ? I believe it will surprise you. It is very very fast, can check multiple files, and it is a freeware.

Found the Ultimate Boot CD for WIndows (ubcd4win) at http://www.ubcd4win.com/index.htm. It builds upon Bart's PE (Preinstalled Environment) and adds to it a host of useful freeware such as DriveImage XML and notepad++. A page that might be useful too is http://www.weethet.nl/english/hardware_bootfromusbstick.php which explains how to boot from a USB drive.
